This was a great read. I’ve been a long-time fan of this author and his writing. I’m not so sure about his take on the subject, but I think his advice is quite good.
Well, to be fair, one of the things he said in his book (which I agree with) is that not all games are created equal. This is especially true for the genre of games called RPGs. There are a lot of good games out there, but most of them are very old and most of them aren’t very well-designed.

I think that this is why so many gamers are becoming interested in new games that are not the same type of games they used to play. But the problem is that because of this, there is a huge market for games that are not RPGs.

bsco is one of those games (like ‘Tecno’ and ‘Tecno 2’) that will teach you the game mechanics in a very basic way (like a game of ‘Tic Tac Toe’). You can just play with the other characters in the game, or you can play as a specific character (like Black on Deathloop).
