Aaaah, Aaaah. Why is it that we have to constantly remind ourselves to take a break from our busy daily lives? Our smartphones, laptops, email and social media apps are constantly buzzing with notifications and distractions that keep us from our daily jobs and activities. As a result, we have to remind ourselves to take a few days, even a week, off of our lives to recharge our batteries for work and school. Aaaah.
This is the real problem with the digital age. We are constantly bombarded with information, even if it’s bad, and this is something we have to relearn to process. We have to re-learn the importance of taking a break from our busy schedules to recharge our batteries. We have to re-learn the importance of taking a break from our busy schedules so we can recharge our batteries for work and school. It’s not just the information overload.
The problem is that most of us don’t have a break from our busy schedules, and the same goes for taking a break from our busy schedules when we aren’t busy. We are always on.
We use that excuse all the time (especially the lazy people who work from home and don’t get to take a break), but it really isn’t enough. A break from the job or school is the first step to regaining our ability to be fully involved in the things that matter to us. The world is very fast paced these days. We want to do everything we can to be in the moment, even if we don’t feel like it.
One of the things I love about this job is that we get to take breaks at work, I love just being able to eat and sleep and be able to take a short nap. I mean, thats what I signed up for, but I do get to take a quick nap.
That’s exactly what I am doing right now. We are in a conference room working on the game. The conference room is the “laboratory” of the game. We’re doing a lot of the same things that the designers have been doing for months, but we’re doing it on our time, not theirs. And because the game is really important, we’re doing it more than we usually would.
The fact is you can’t really get away with too much when it comes to getting people off your back. So you need to have a strategy and a plan on how you can do it. A lot of designers I spoke to agreed that it’s important to know why you’re doing something and to remember that you’re not just working on a game, you’re working on a project.
When it comes to creating a game, its more than just the mechanics and the world. Its about the people you need to get to know as well. Because that is the lifeblood of a game. You cant just sit around and do nothing. You need to spend time with people to make sure they are going to be happy and make sure they are going to have fun. Because that is what life is like, and that is what you want to create a game about.
A game is no different than a movie, and the people you need to get to know as well is the same way. The people you need to get to know are the people who will be making up the bulk of your player base, and who will be the people you want to make a game about. Without the people you need to get to know, you cant create a successful game.
In a game, you also want to create a community. You need to create a community to make your game successful, but also to get the people who will play your game to engage with it and to have a good time doing it. Sure you can have a successful game without a community, but you get the idea.
